About The Position
Self-Direction DSP - Liverpool Area (Job #RC-GG) ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a friendly, motivated, outgoing young woman. Having a wheelchair accessible vehicle is a plus! Looking for a friendly, positive staff to assist her with getting out in the community to make connections and pursue hobbies of interest like baking. Hours and Days of work: up to 40 hours per week Payrate: $23.00 per hour Location: Liverpool, NY Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
