About The Position
ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Pulaski area with a man who requires assistance. The individual is looking for a dedicated staff to provide him with support and assist him with maintaining him independence both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting with transportation, personal goal achievement and general independence. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. Work hours vary and a schedule would be set up by the individual. Occasional hours on weekends and holidays optional. Flexibility would be beneficial. The pay rate is $22 per hour, with opportunity for more with the right candidate. Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- HS diploma/GED
- Valid drivers license
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.

- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
