Direct Support Professional - Syracuse - $17.00/hr.

Requirements
- Must be 21 year's old and have a valid NYS driver's license with 4 points or less.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates in Human Services preferred.
- Experience working with at risk children or teenagers, children or teenagers with mental health diagnosis or in another human service area or in a health care field OR Associates degree in Human Services or related field required.
- Will be required to successfully complete fingerprinting clearance and provide/complete a physical examination.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care, supervise and act as a role model to clients who reside in an apartment setting.
- Assist and teach clients day to day routines and basic living skills such as defined in care plans.
- Maintain household including meal planning and preparation.
- Serve as a positive liaison to schools, parents, and others who have a relationship to clients.
- Provide transportation for program/client activities.
- Assist in academic needs and participate in and plan recreation as appropriate.
