About The Position

Creed Medical is looking for compassionate and committed Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team. As a DSP, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting them with daily living activities and promoting independence. This role is critical in improving the quality of life for those we serve by fostering a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment. You will collaborate with a team of professionals to implement personalized care plans, support community participation, and ensure the well-being of our clients.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in direct support or caregiving preferred but not required.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and other daily living activities.
Support clients in achieving their individual goals and enhancing skills for daily living.
Facilitate community inclusion by encouraging participation in social and recreational activities.
Document care provided and report any changes in client behavior or health.
Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all clients.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to provide comprehensive care.
