High school diploma or equivalent Compassion and reliability Comfortable supporting individuals at home and in the community Willingness to learn and provide individualized support Previous experience is helpful but not required. Training is provided! WHAT VITAL ASSISTANCE DO YOU PROVIDE? You will have the choice of full-time or part-time hours , with shifts available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, as well as evenings, nights, and weekends. Shifts will vary based on the support needs of each team, so you can specify your preferred hours. As a full- or part-time Direct Support Professional, you will start your day by heading straight from your home to support adults living in their own homes across San Diego. Each day, you will help individuals maintain their independence and build essential life skills. You will be assisting with daily living and household tasks, providing medication reminders, and encouraging participation in community activities. Your responsibilities will also include accompanying individuals to appointments and documenting the services you provide.
