Direct Support Professional - Day Services - Penn Yan Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is currently seeking compassionate Caregivers, Health Aides, CNAs, and Direct Support Professionals to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities during daytime hours. In this role, you'll support individuals primarily in community-based or habilitation settings-helping them build skills, engage in their communities, and grow toward greater independence. As a Direct Support Professional, you'll play a vital role in fostering confidence and positive self-esteem through respectful, encouraging, and supportive interactions, while always honoring each individual's rights and dignity. Direct Support Professional Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am -4 pm (Hours vary with occasional evenings and weekends as needed) 37.5 Hours per Week Location: Yates County (Penn Yan, NY)

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required
Valid Driver's License is required.

Nice To Haves

Minimally one-year experience working with people with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or related field is preferred.
