About The Position

ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a man 30yrs old in the Syracuse, NY area. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is open-minded, respectful and dedicated staff to engage in activities with him in the community. The DSP will assist him in developing social skills, Teach him safety skills. DSP will assist with independent living skills and encourage him to try new things/activities. Hours Varies Due to his work schedule, Looking for roughly 12.5 hours per week Com Hab services at $20.50 per hour We are seeking individuals who are reliable, patient, enthusiastic, and able to work independently. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities will be a plus. Reliable transportation is required. A background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be completed prior to hire through the non‑profit agency. Requirements

Must have a valid drivers license
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
