About The Position
This position involves working one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. The role offers meaningful work within the community.
Requirements
- One year experience working with I/DD individuals; If you do not have this experience, paid training is available
- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- You will accompany clients on errands and appointments
- You will spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
- You will assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
- You will participate in community integration activities
