Requirements
- Possess a valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- License must be valid in PA or NY
- Satisfactory DMV Background Check
- Able to work on weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather.
- Lift and transfer up to 100 lbs. (with or without assistance)
- Perform repetitive motions, bending, reaching, and wheelchair support as needed
- Maintain awareness and quick response to ensure safety
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent or experience in the field
- No criminal record
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must complete a pre-employment physical and Mantoux TB test upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living skills such as personal care, cooking, and housekeeping
- Implement and document Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
- Administer medications and maintain Medication Administration Certification
- Encourage independence and respect individual choices
- Provide emotional support, advocacy, and community engagement
- Complete required documentation accurately in the agency’s electronic health record system
- Attend required trainings and staff meetings
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe environment
