About The Position
Creed Medical is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide exceptional care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a DSP, you will assist clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and foster community integration. You will work closely with individuals and their families to implement personalized care plans and ensure a safe, supportive environment. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in direct support or caregiving preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and other daily living activities.
- Support clients in developing life skills and participating in community activities.
- Follow individualized care plans and document progress accurately.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals.
- Communicate effectively with team members, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients.
