About The Position
ARISE/EFR is seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a young man who enjoys listening to music, the beach, and spending time outdoors. In this role, you will help him become more involved in community events and recreational opportunities and will help him improve his communication and independent living skills. He would like to become more physically active and would be interested in finding a volunteer opportunity. He is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and motivating individual to assist him in reaching his goals.
Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Effective communication and organizational skills required
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience preferred
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred
