We have immediate openings for first shift (7 AM - 3 PM) second shift (3-11 PM) and weekend shifts (Sunday, 7 AM-3 PM) (Saturday 3 PM to 11 PM). Looking for meaningful work? Paid Training - we invest in YOU from day one Supportive leadership & strong team culture Work that truly changes lives A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BEHAVIOR ASSISTANT / CAREGIVER As a Behavior Assistant, you provide direct care to adults with autism or developmental disabilities in a group home setting that encourages the individual's personal success. You provide this direct care during your 8-hour shift in their group home. You will enjoy meals together, go on fun outings, help them with their chores. Your work as a Direct support Professional (DSP) will be needed in their daily living skills including hygiene, grooming, shopping, transportation, and housekeeping. Shalimare is licensed by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). You will attend training and receive certifications to learn how to protect and assist this vulnerable population. You will provide first aid and wellness care as needed and may assist with medical appointments. You use your communication skills to keep accurate and up-to-date documentation as well as promptly reporting any concerns about health or safety to your Home Manager. Requirements

• Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role.
• Education: High School Diploma.
• Attributes: Compassion, dedication, and a drive to help others.

Responsibilities
