Direct Support Professional
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate care to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the comfort of their own homes. This position requires at least one year of verifiable work experience with individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities. Openings are available in Asheville, Marion, and surrounding cities, with flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Requirements
- At least one year of verifiable work experience with individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Ability to work independently in a client's home/community
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
- Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
- Participate in community integration activities.
- Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, etc.)
