About The Position

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join their team at a program in Coraopolis, PA. This opportunity is open to individuals who are caregivers, direct care workers, home health aides, or those aspiring to be one, with immediate hiring available. No prior experience is required as Merakey provides paid training. The role offers an hourly wage of $19.00 with the Enhanced Pay Option. The ideal DSP candidate will be passionate about making long-term impacts on individuals' lives, encouraging, mentoring, and coaching them to achieve their goals. The position involves spending time in various settings, such as parks and sensory gardens, to create memories and work on social and communication skills, following each individual's Support Plan. DSPs will also foster independence by teaching daily living activities like personal care, housekeeping, and laundry, and assisting with daily and personal activities.

Responsibilities
