Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- DSP I & DSP II Certification
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- CPI Certification
- 3+ years supporting adults with developmental disabilities or mental health needs
- Valid in-state driver’s license
- Must be 21 years or older
- Proof of current vehicle insurance and registration
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 points within the last 3 years)
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviors strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Support daily routines based on each Individual Program Plan (IPP)
- Assist individuals in developing and progressing toward IPP/ISP goals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy living environment
- Encourage community inclusion, family visits, and social activities 🌟
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, and daily living skills
- Prepare meals and support light housekeeping tasks
- Transport residents using company vehicles
- Communicate any concerns, incidents, or changes to administrators
- Provide dependable, compassionate, and professional support
