About The Position
Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Camillus area. The individual is looking for a dedicated staff to provide them with support and assist them with maintaining their independence both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting with Personal Care, light housekeeping, meal preparation and general independence. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. Work hours include Wednesday and a weekend day, hours vary, and occasional hours on holidays as needed. Flexibility to fill-in for other staff a plus. The pay rate is $20 per hour. Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
