DSP - Independent Contractor Waxhaw, NC (SF)
About The Position
InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for an Adult Male with Developmental Disabilities in Waxhaw, NC of (Union County) Staff will provide Community Living and Support for approx 12-15 hours per week in the late afternoons and some Saturdays. Must be able to handle a wheelchair (some lifting) and help with toileting needs Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (3pm to 5:30pm) and Some Saturday afternoons. This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
Requirements
- All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.
