About The Position

Join Embark Behavioral Health in Marion, Montana as an Overnight Direct Support Professional and play a vital role in supporting teens through the quiet hours. In this overnight position, you'll help maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where adolescents can rest, reset, and grow. Whether it's a moment of homesickness, a late-night worry, or a need for comfort, you'll be the steady, compassionate presence they can count on.

Requirements

  • Age: 21+
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; degree in human services, psychology, or related field a plus
  • Experience: Preferred - 1 year working with adolescents or in overnight care
  • Skills: Calm under pressure, empathetic, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Certifications: First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Other Requirements: Ability to pass background checks and drug screening (per Montana law) Valid Montana driver's license (or ability to obtain upon hire) Comfortable performing janitorial duties and light physical tasks Willingness to apply training in verbal de-escalation and physical safety interventions

Responsibilities

  • Ensure client safety and emotional well-being through active overnight supervision and timely documentation
  • Maintain a calm, supportive presence while monitoring overnight needs and routines
  • Guide adolescents through evening transitions and coping strategies
  • Respond empathetically to emotional or behavioral challenges using trauma-informed, de-escalation techniques
  • Support a clean, welcoming environment through nightly cleaning and facility upkeep
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of care
  • Assist with residential upkeep, light administrative tasks, and any additional tasks requested by Managers and/or Directors
