Academic Req: Required – Associate degree in Human Services or related field or a certification in a Health and Human Services area with applicable experience. Preferred –Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a health and human services role actively assisting clients. Two (2) years supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; one (1) year in a leadership or supervisory role preferred. Familiarity with ICF standards and PCC (PointClickCare) documentation strongly preferred. Position Summary: The DSP supervises adults with disabilities, using reasonable actions to ensure the safety and well-being of each adult, effectively communicate facility and programmatic behavioral expectations and limitations to adults and maintain compliance with agency policies and procedures and established state and federal standards and requirements.
