Requirements

High School Diploma
Valid Current NJ driver's license
Clearances: DDD Criminal Background Fingerprint Check, Mantoux TB Test, CARI Check, Citizenship Status (I-9), Drug Screening, Motor Vehicle Check

Nice To Haves

Experience working with adult learners with disabilities (preferred)
Experience working with learners with autism (preferred)

Responsibilities

Supervises assigned learners throughout the day
Implements instructional programs
Provides job coaching at Supported Employment/Volunteer sites
Conducts discrete trials
Performs chaining techniques in order to teach more complex tasks
Executes prompting (e.g., modeling, manual guidance, verbal)
Provides incidental teaching learning opportunities
Provides systematic desensitization exposures
Collects, summarizes, and reports data
Manages problem behaviors and implements behavior reduction programs
Reports emergencies and injuries as per ALG policies and procedures
Attends staff meetings and in-service training sessions (including crisis intervention).
Recommends materials, equipment, and supplies.
Carries out other duties as may be requested by the Clinical Supervisors
Contributes to the overall development of instructional and treatment programs
