Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Current NJ driver's license
  • Clearances: DDD Criminal Background Fingerprint Check, Mantoux TB Test, CARI Check, Citizenship Status (I-9), Drug Screening, Motor Vehicle Check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with adult learners with disabilities (preferred)
  • Experience working with learners with autism (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Supervises assigned learners throughout the day
  • Implements instructional programs
  • Provides job coaching at Supported Employment/Volunteer sites
  • Conducts discrete trials
  • Performs chaining techniques in order to teach more complex tasks
  • Executes prompting (e.g., modeling, manual guidance, verbal)
  • Provides incidental teaching learning opportunities
  • Provides systematic desensitization exposures
  • Collects, summarizes, and reports data
  • Manages problem behaviors and implements behavior reduction programs
  • Reports emergencies and injuries as per ALG policies and procedures
  • Attends staff meetings and in-service training sessions (including crisis intervention).
  • Recommends materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Carries out other duties as may be requested by the Clinical Supervisors
  • Contributes to the overall development of instructional and treatment programs
