About The Position
Direct Support Professional: Residential -Latham Please submit an updated resume so that we can pay you for your experience! Pay Range: $18.75-$24.30/hr based on verifiable direct care experience This pay range reflects 20 + years of experience/education Available Shifts: Wednesday 11am-Thursday 9am; Friday 9am-9am; Saturday 9am-5pm (overnights paid at asleep rate) Who we are: Wildwood Programs is a provider of educational, residential, employment, and other community-based supports to people with disabilities and their families. Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- be positive and encouraging with those they support.
- be professional
- have patience and a positive attitude
- have a strong desire to help others
- enjoy teamwork
- A valid NYS license and clean driving record required
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Responsibilities
- Help the people who live there by assisting them in activities, like: Cooking, Doing laundry, Running errands
- Teach people with disabilities how to do things on their own
- Taking individuals to appointments and activities
- Writing notes as needed.
- Helping individuals with tasks like cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping, and managing money
- Other duties as need
