About The Position
Residential Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to Serve as both a caregiver and life coach, creating opportunities and promoting individuality and independence Assist in meal preparation, personal care, daily living activities, coaching and teaching/developing skills. Advocate for the individual by assisting in communication and self-expression and being creative in supporting the individual in meeting his/her own goals. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the USA One (1) year of experience in supporting individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities, preferred Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record, preferred Clean criminal records, background checks, required Ability to convey, understand and follow spoken and written instructions in English, preferred Good Communication skills, preferred Ability to lift 50 pounds, required Complete required training
