Direct Support Professional
About The Position
Improve another life! Be a Companion; not a Direct Care Provider. The Direct Support Professional safely performs varied, but highly important duties related to the overall well-being of individuals who deal with intellectual and developmental challenges. Our participants reside with their family members/caregivers, in their own homes or in licensed settings. The Direct Support Professional performs various duties, including the implementation of strategies and activities derived from the Individualized Service Plans, including trips to museums, parties, work, school, movies, local businesses, community events, etc., in accordance with the Division of Developmental Disabilities Support Program and Community Care Program Policy and Procedure Manuals. Jobs available for: Englewood, New Jersey and neighboring areas.
