About The Position
Self-Direction DSP - Baldwinsville Area (Job #JF-CM) ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for an active individual who requires physical assistance in Baldwinsville. The position would be for weekends around the home and in the community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assistance with independent living skills, support with health and safety and pursuing personal interests. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities a plus. A reliable vehicle and a valid NYS driver's license are required. ARISE/EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Saturday Morning - 9 - 11 am Saturday night - 7 - 9 pm Sunday night - 7 - 9 pm $22/hr. Location: Baldwinsville, NY
Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
