About The Position

Our mission is to help people with intellectual and physical disabilities develop life skills, independence, and confidence in their communities. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as SUB Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Jackson, NJ. In this role, you will provide guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support to adults with disabilities in a residential group home setting. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- 20 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Consent to state and federal criminal background checks
- Drug screen, pre-employment physical, and PPD
- Completion of all required orientation and pre-service training
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living skills such as cooking, housekeeping, budgeting, shopping, and maintaining healthy routines
- Support residents with hygiene, personal care, and basic medical needs
- Foster social skills, coping strategies, and community involvement
- Mentor residents in building friendships and gaining independence
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and structured environment
