Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to implement individualized plans
Commitment to positive behavioral supports
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (for driving positions)
Successful completion of a SOAR365 driving test (if applicable)
Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification
Obtain and maintain Therapeutic Options certifications
Demonstrate reliability
Demonstrate teamwork
Alignment with SOAR365's core values

Nice To Haves

One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities
Related college coursework
Disability-specific training
Medical training (such as a CNA license)

Responsibilities

Providing direct care, supervision, and support to participants during daily program activities, ensuring engagement, choice, and dignity at all times.
Delivering age-appropriate, purposeful activities.
Supporting skill development in areas such as social interaction, personal hygiene, and motor coordination.
Implementing individualized training plans using approved techniques and interventions.
Collaborating closely with team members.
Encouraging positive behavioral supports.
Accompanying participants on community outings.
Providing transportation when assigned.
Personal care support.
Maintaining equipment and supplies.
Completing accurate and timely documentation.
Identifying program needs and solutions.
Participating in trainings and meetings.
Supporting volunteers and interns.
Ensuring full compliance with all safety, HIPAA, and agency policies.
