About The Position

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities? As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Apis Services, you will be a key player in empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible. Under the guidance of the Home Supervisor/QIDP, you will support the vision and outcomes outlined in each person's Individual Support Plan (ISP) or Person-Centered Support Plan (PCSP), ensuring their safety and well-being while helping them thrive in their community.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license from TN, AR, or MS.
• Must have had a driver's license for at least three years without any suspensions or revocations.
• Candidates must also pass all required pre-employment screenings, including criminal background checks and drug tests.
• You will be required to work at least one shift per pay period.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily hygiene (when necessary), bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs. as needed.
• Prepare meals and cook as required.
• Transport individuals within the community.
• Medication Administration: (for Community Living settings only).
