About The Position

At HIT, Inc., we support individuals with disabilities across western North Dakota. We are currently hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work in our Group Homes, where 6–8 individuals live together in a safe, supportive environment. As a DSP, you will help individuals build independence, navigate daily life, follow individualized service plans, and create a home where everyone feels valued and respected. This role offers a career where purpose meets opportunity, and the work truly matters.

Requirements

• Requires knowledge and skill equivalent to the completion of a high school diploma
• Must have knowledge and skills necessary to perform ordinary household functions
• Must possess good observation skills and relate observations accurately, both verbally and in writing
• Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform basic computer operations
• Will meet and maintain the required certifications to become a medication technician
• Will meet and maintain the required certifications for CPR
• Will meet and maintain the required certifications for First Aid
• Will meet and maintain the required certifications for DD certified as required for the position
