About The Position

Job Opportunity: Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Group Employment with ARC Voyagers in Columbus, OH Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others? If so, join our supportive and caring team! Location: 2789 Johnstown Rd. Columbus, OH 43219 Schedule: Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm. Hourly Wage : $18.00 an hour with a $1.50 shift differential Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions/Job Duties: Personalizes communication and task training approach to meet participants learning style and needs. Supports participant skill improvements to achieve their personal outcomes. Use of work supplies, machinery, and tools Perform cleaning contract duties. Use of cleaning equipment and supplies Help participants with daily living activities, health maintenance, and personal hygiene. Document services provided and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS, DODD, OOD, and CARF standards. Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant policies and standards. Uphold the rights, dignity, and respect of all persons served. Teach new hard and soft skills in various settings and provide input for participant Person-Centered ISPs. Requirements for a Direct Support Professional: Must be 18+ years old. High school diploma or equivalent. One year experience preferred but not required. Ability to lift, bend, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Pass background check and drug test. First Aid/CPR certification required (training provided). Valid Ohio driver’s license. Ability to work independently and utilize professional communication. Benefits: 403(B)- Great Employer match! Requirements
