About The Position

We are seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team of caring professionals. Full Health Care for you and your family at NO COST!! Competitive Wages - Up to $20.50 per hr.!! Generous Paid Time Off!! Community Resources is looking for good people to take care of the individuals we serve. We are continuing to hire Direct Support Professionals to work in our community Residences to ensure the health, safety and well-being of the men and women who make their home with us. Our community residences are open 24/7 with a variety of open shifts. We are also seeking Direct Support Professionals to work in our Day Habilitation program - open Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm and our Recreation program - open Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 7:30pm and Saturday 8:30am - 4:30pm. Qualified candidates should have a desire to help others and be willing to treat the people who live with us as their own family, making each house a home!

Requirements

Must have a High School diploma and a valid NYS driver's license.
Must have the physical ability to be certified and perform, CPR/FIRST AID, SCIP and AMAP.

Responsibilities

Assisting Residents with activities of daily living and in the development of Self Help.
Work to maintain a personalized home-like atmosphere in the facility.
Participate in appropriate referral, planning, initiation, coordination, implementation, follow through, monitoring and evaluation activities relative to the care and development of the residents.
Maintain records specific to the residents in regard to daily activities.
Responsible for specific task or tasks assigned by the manager.
Assist in activities.
Actively participate in the implementation of Community Inclusion strategies.
