About The Position

1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed - Syracuse, NY (DC-CV) 11-year-old young man looking for respite support staff on Saturdays to assist him with participating in activities of his choosing at home and in the community. He loves to learn new things, has great computer skills, likes to play Minecraft, looking at maps, drawing and doing puzzles. Enjoys going to the Zoo, the MOST, jumping on trampolines, and the library. The ideal candidate is patient, active, and shares similar interests. This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services. at the agency. Hours and days of work: Every other Saturday 9:00am - 5:00 pm. Starting pay: Respite 2: Starting pay is $18.50/hour and increases with years of relevant experience. Location: Syracuse, NY

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to work independently in the person's home and/or community.
Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills
New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
Must have a valid drivers license
