Requirements

A high school diploma, or equivalent is required.
You must be at least 18 years old.
Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, a willingness to help, and a commitment to continuous learning are a must.
Candidates will undergo drug screenings and background checks before employment.
Candidates must meet our automotive insurance requirements to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

Assisting with grooming, bathing, hygiene, toileting, feeding, and other individual requirements.
Supporting individuals in their preferred leisure and recreational activities.
Encouraging socially acceptable behaviors and communication with peers, family, and the community.
Administering medications following physicians' orders.
Implementing emergency procedures when necessary.
Providing training and support based on individual goals.
Maintaining a current understanding of Person-Centered Support Plans (PCSP) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP).
Documenting services, emergency visits, medication, and other vital information.
Ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
Reporting special incidents, suspected abuse, and health and safety issues.
Participating in staff meetings and continuing education.
