About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and families.
• Empathetic, patient, and compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community activities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or must be obtained following hire.
• Flexible Schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care, daily activities, and household tasks.
• Facilitate participation in community engagement and social activities to support social development.
• Implement and monitor individualized support and care plans as per each person's unique needs.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Act as an advocate for individuals, promoting their rights and choices.
