About The Position
Covenant Ability Network of Minnesota (CANMN) is currently hiring for full- and part-time Direct Support Professionals to provide services to clients in the Duluth, MN area! CANMN is a faith based non-profit organization providing person centered services to adults with a variety of intellectual disabilities. We are called to work along side those we serve and provide enrichment to their lives. We stay very active with camping trips, sporting events, Bible study's and beyond. Join us today!
Requirements
- High school degree, GED
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass DHS background study
- Passionate about serving others!
- Staff are required to work a shift every other weekend.
Nice To Haves
- experience and/or training with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals on daily living skills, household tasks, personal hygiene, budgeting, and medication administration.
- Transport and accompany residents in community activities, recreation and leisure activities.
- Provide and maintain a safe environment while implementing behavior management skills.
