About The Position

At Dungarvin, we are more than a provider of support services—we’re a mission-driven team rooted in respect, response and choice. Since 1976, we’ve been dedicated to meeting people where they are, working alongside them to provide person centered supports that allow people to live independently as possible. You’ll work directly with people in need of assistance, and/or living with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or other complex medical needs. With services in 15 states, our team is united by a shared commitment to making a real difference—one person, one voice, one choice at a time. We encourage you to embrace this opportunity to impact someone’s life. Make a Difference Every Day! At Dungarvin, we do meaningful work that shapes futures. We’re looking for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support children and teens (ages 12–21) with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential program. The DSP (caregiver) is responsible for providing direct support, hands-on instruction, assistance, and positive direction to children, teens, and young adults (ages 12-21) with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) in a manner that ensures their health, safety, successful achievement of service objectives, and personal goals. This role calls for patience, creativity, and dedication. It isn’t just a job - it’s a chance to guide, empower, and make a lasting difference in young lives. If you’re motivated by purpose and believe in helping kids reach their potential, we’d love to meet you!
