About The Position

The purpose of this position is to support clients with their life to include health and personal care, therapeutic, educational, recreational, and leisure activities for individuals with disabilities to achieve maximum growth and learning, as they make transitions throughout life. This position supports the development and connections needed to participate in community life for the individuals served. The CBS Direct Support Professional (DSP) will work independently with individuals in the center location, in their home or work site and throughout planned daily activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of DD modules or ability to complete them.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to learn and perform personal care, education, and therapeutic programs.
• One year's experience working in the developmental disabilities field.
