About The Position

Overview Oversee Paraeducator I, and Paraeducator II and under the direction of the Education Director oversees the operation of the campus during the education hours Responsibilities Supervise Paraeducator I and II staff during school hours Ensure student safety, dignity, and engagement in a therapeutic learning environment Oversee implementation of behavior support plans and Safety Care practices Manage daily staff schedules and ensure required staffing ratios Support staff training, performance evaluations, and coaching Act as campus “in-charge” during assigned shifts, including school closures or holidays Communicate student needs to appropriate staff and advocate for individualized supports Distribute prescribed medications as trained and authorized as needed Respond appropriately to crises and maintain a calm, structured atmosphere Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
At least two years of childcare experience
Must be 21 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience in health and human services or a related field is a plus
