About The Position

Its services for individuals with mental health conditions provide daily living support and community-based programs that teach valuable life skills through instruction and real-world experiences. The Residential Counselor supports the group home residents with daily living activities and delivers high quality services that will help consumers achieve measurable outcomes in accordance with Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRP). Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months of direct care experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
  • Possess a valid driver’s license & acceptable driving record.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Support consumers in achieving personal care goals and addressing ongoing challenges.
  • Educate consumers on medications, track logs, and conduct monthly audits.
  • Coordinate services based on individual needs.
  • Transports consumers using the company van as needed.
  • Deliver high-quality care in line with Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRP).
  • Accurately document services within required timeframes using electronic health records.
