About The Position

I Am Boundless is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Ohio for over 40 years. The organization aims to empower its community and realize the boundless potential of all people. As a Direct Support Professional, the role involves providing direct programming and various forms of support, including dietary, laundry, toileting, and housekeeping, to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and in writing
Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant; delegated nursing (training will be provided if not already certified)
Valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles
Proof of auto insurance

Responsibilities

Provide direct programming to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Provide dietary support to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Provide laundry support to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Provide housekeeping support to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Provide other support to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities
