What You’ll Do Train, support, and guide individuals served in production and day programming skills Promote growth, well-being, and autonomy through positive role modeling and choice-based support Create a warm, upbeat, team-focused environment rooted in dignity and respect Implement behavior supports, skill-building plans, and vocational goals outlined in each person’s Plan for the Future Assist with vocational assessments, team meetings, and progress reports Support and guide other DSPs, including monitoring documentation and quality standards Maintain accurate records including data collection, MARs, IFRs, and reports Become medication certified and follow all medication and safety protocols Ensure quality control of production work and train others on procedures Know emergency procedures and lead monthly fire drills Attend staff meetings and agency trainings Step into supervisory coverage when needed and help keep operations running smoothly Schedule Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM Flexibility required to cover shifts as needed May carry the supervisor work cell phone when covering leadership duties The Bottom Line This is more than a job—it’s a chance to teach real skills, support independence, lead with purpose, and be part of a team that believes people deserve meaningful work and meaningful lives.
