The Direct Support Professional (DSP) position is designed to provide supervision, education, modeling, and support to West Oak participants. The DSP ensures the delivery of quality services, including documentation and communication of each individual's performance at home and in the community. This role requires working closely with the participant's team members and agency staff, reporting to the Group Life Supervisor or Program Coordinator/Manager. The DSP is responsible for facilitating participant services, implementing therapeutic and preventative skills, and ensuring the safety and well-being of participants.
