The position involves providing services related to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on a temporary basis when the DSP is not present. Responsibilities include maintaining and submitting timely and accurate nutritional records and reports, assisting residents in skill development in areas such as domestic living and medical appointments, and transporting individuals to various activities. The role also requires ensuring a safe, clean, and normalized home-like environment, informing the Program Manager of any physical plant needs, and promptly reporting any serious incidents or violations of rights. The individual will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness both internally and externally, managing inventory, and ensuring that clients' nutritional needs are met according to prescribed diets. Meal planning and preparation, safe food handling, and compliance with agency policies are also key aspects of the job.
