Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership capacity.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons 65 and older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance in the state you are employed.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English (reading and writing) with ability to comprehend documents.
• Medication Management Administration certificate within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Active Mandatory Reporter Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all direct interactions with members served, including protective oversight and supervision while promoting member independence and accomplishment of goals.
• Support members with their activities of daily living.
• Onboard, train, and mentor new DSPs assigned to your house.
• Collaborate with your assigned Team Lead or Assistant Manager on staffing, attendance, and performance.
• Act as a liaison between families, administration, and those served to ensure consistent, quality care.
