This is an Adult Intern/Training Program that provides direct support in a vocational and recreational setting. The Mentor will be responsible for following structured programming which will include vocational training, volunteering, recreational opportunities, activities of daily living skills training, providing supervision based on level of functioning (i.e. 1:1 to line of sight). Medication administration (as needed), documenting case notes, attending monthly staff meetings and fully participating in all activities with participants (i.e. cooking, cleaning, exercising, completing clerical duties, working with pre-school/senior programs, swimming, music therapy, arts and crafts etc.). We will offer specialized specific training that will provide staff with the knowledge and tools needed to perform their job responsibilities effectively and to provide the best supports and services to the people we serve.
