About The Position

We are looking for DSPs and Job Coaches throughout Washington County! Some jobs are just a paycheck. Living Innovations jobs are more than that. It's a paycheck plus meaningful work. Sound like you? As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in supporting adults with IDD to live fulfilling lives at home and in their communities. Experience is welcomed but not required. Full training is provided.

Requirements

• A patient, caring, and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build rapport and trust with individuals with IDD.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to individual needs.
• Valid state issued driver's license, current vehicle insurance declaration and vehicle registration.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• The ability to pass comprehensive background checks per state and company regulations/policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance with tasks like dressing, meal preparation, and personal hygiene.
• Provide transportation to appointments and community outings.
• Provide support at their jobs and places of work.
• Encourage participation in social activities and hobbies.
• Help individuals develop life skills and achieve their goals.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes independence and dignity.
