Mozaic (a chapter of the ARC) is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP III) who is responsible for providing oversight to the Direct Support Professionals by the following the Site Supervisor's guidance. This candidate provides person directed services while ensuring the health and safety of the individuals supported.

Requirements

To qualify for the position, candidates must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Applicants should have at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or hold an associate degree in human services or a related field.
A valid driver's license is also required, along with certification in medication administration.

Responsibilities

Assists Site Supervisor to ensure records, files and reports are kept current and meets regulatory requirements
Ensures chain of command is followed when necessary and instructions are followed as stated in policies and procedures
Assists with ensuring accurate management of individual's funds and annual budget
Completes and assigns daily assignments to Direct Support Professionals and ensures completion of assignments
Maintains on-going communication with all programs
Ensures supporting documentation meets regulatory compliance and supports the individual's valued outcomes
