About The Position

This position is focused on providing person-centered services to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their health, safety, and personal development. The role involves compliance with regulations, financial management, and the implementation of individualized support plans. Team members will advocate for the individuals served and maintain a safe and supportive environment while collaborating with other staff and external partners.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or an acceptable TABE test score is required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED and SCIP Certification within the first six months of hire.
• Medication Administration Certification for Residential and site-based program, as required.
• One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities or an associate's degree in human services or related field.

Nice To Haves

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate office equipment, computers, and medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulations, agency policies, and procedures.
• Ensure required documentation is complete, accurate, and legible.
• Provide input in the development and revisions of policies, procedures, and agency forms as needed.
• Assist with ensuring adherence to the annual budget.
• Provide services to people as planned in their Life Plan (LP).
• Plan and coordinate daily activities for individuals receiving support.
• Act as an advocate for people receiving support from the agency.
• Provide medication management and administer medications according to agency policy and procedures.
• Maintain an environment that encourages and facilitates optimal personal development.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships both internal and external.
