As a Direct Support Professional II, you’ll play an integral part in assisting individuals with daily living, promoting community connections, and supporting them in achieving their personal goals. In this role, you’ll also take on leadership responsibilities, including training and supervising other direct support staff, while working closely with a multidisciplinary team. Direct Support Professionals are provided a paid New Employee Orientation and receive training on CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving, and Medication Administration Program (MAP). They also receive program-specific training at the work site.
