Direct Support Professional II - Awake Overnight at Seven Hills Community Services provides direct support or services with a higher level of skill or experience, contributing to our service recipients' care and support while maintaining quality, service excellence and ethical standards. This role may train or supervise direct support employees and works closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans that align with each person's goals and needs.   • Provision of day-to-day services to program participants.
  • Assist and/or teach individuals varying levels of personal care including bathing, toileting, and teeth brushing.
  • Assist and/or teach individuals household maintenance, meal prep, and/or shopping.
  • Provide ongoing opportunities for individuals to assume increasing control and responsibility over their daily lives.
  • Accompany individuals on appointments.
  • Administer medications or support individuals to self-medicate in accordance with residential guidelines.
  • Follow routines of the individuals including Behavior Support Plans, personal care, and Physical Therapy.
  • 18+ years old.
  • High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required.
  • 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License & Good Driving Record.
  • CPR/First Aid and MAP certification required (paid training provided if needed).
  • Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives.
  • Varied interests and personal connections in the local community.
  • Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history).
  • Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of your team.
