About The Position

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Seven Hills Pediatric Center, an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation Position Summary: Provide direct support to individuals served, assisting with personal care activities, fostering independence, and contributing to their overall well-being in a safe and engaging environment. Requirements

High school diploma/GED/HiSET required.
Standard driver’s license (Class C or D)
1–3 years of related experience preferred.
Activity planning and recreational skills.
Health and safety protocols to ensure participant well-being.
Assistance with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and mobility.
Team collaboration and strong communication skills.
Basic first aid knowledge and the ability to address minor emergencies.

Nice To Haves

Completion of healthcare training or competency evaluation program preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting social and communication skills.
Support community engagement and facilitate participation in activities outside the facility.
Administer medications, follow care plans, and accompany individuals to appointments.
Maintain a safe, supportive environment and promote well-being with individualized care.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and strategies.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
